On May 20, 2008, it was announced that Jake Gyllenhaal is to portray Dastan, the protagonist of the film. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer explained his choice, "He's a wonderful actor. He's someone I've been watching for a long time and somebody I've always wanted to work with."^[12][13] for the role, gaining five or six pounds of muscle.^[13][13] Gemma Arterton was announced to play the role of protagonist Tamina,^[12] and Arterton reported she practiced horse back riding in Madrid before filming.^[14] Sir Ben Kingsley is to portray the film's antagonist, Nizam.^[15] Alfred Molina is to portray a character named Sheik Amar, who becomes a mentor to the prince.^[16] Toby Kebbell^[17] Gyllenhaal claims he "over-prepared" The actor says, "…I never knew how much they were going to ask me to do, so I just made sure I'd be hopefully able to do anything." is to play Prince Garsiv, Dastan's brother, and head of the Persian army.


Yeahhh and so this is how the story goes =)


The plot follows Dastan (played by Jake Gyllenhaal), a street urchin in the Persian Empire in the sixth century. After showing valor in battle, he is adopted by the king as his heir, so the king's two sons will not fight over the throne.^[1] Later on, he teams up with Princess Tamina (played by Gemma Arterton) to stop a common enemy - the villainous nobleman Nizam (Ben Kingsley)^[2]dagger known as "The Dagger of Time" (a valuable dagger which gives to its owner the ability to go back in time for short periods and change the past) and to to keep him from generating a sandstorm which could destroy the world. and to take from him an ancient

And this time , this movie is directed by ,Mike Newell (“Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire director”) with a cast that includes SIR BEN KINGSLEY and ALFRED MOLINA.
How cool can this be ?!!!

The question being asked is If you have a dagger that turns back time, what event/danger would you change?

Yeah kinna of a tricky one, can if i really had a dagger of time i would really use it to stop time and spend more time with my grandfather. Yeahh... seriously kinna sadden me out of the sudden because just one/two yr ago if i think remember wrongly , my grandfather had pass away on the 7th January... he had just moved in with us on 2008 around August ... if im not wrong. I still remember when he moved into our house , i had only concentrated in my computers and personal. i been slacking all day round and just take it as he just moved into our house and stay ... till one day he fallen sick starting with a backache, my dad took him to the hospital for a check up and i accompanied him... we waited for around 2-4hrs as the hospital was like full of people. Till that time , when he was in hospital , i just take it as he was having some normal old-aged illness but i was wrong. the doctor came out and just advised that allow my grandfather to stay in the hospital for a further checkout . Day by day had pass , school is starting soon as it was around December going January that time.
One of the day when i went to hospital with my family to see my grandfather, i was seriously shocked that his hands,legs and face are starting to go swollen, the doctor had said that his livers are started to stop working, blueblacks/dark purple skins are found on his hand... i know that he felt terrible ... and doctor said that he can stay for long so ... the families decided to fetch him home and enjoy the rest of his life.
i would really want to use the dagger of time at this period to stop the time from moving so that i can see my grandfather more. !!!... my birthday is coming , new year is coming , everything is coming too soon. and the current situation... ... Finally... the day have come my grandfather had ... passed away around 5-6pm on the 7th Of Jan...
i froze myself infront of him , and tears just dripped and dripped off my eyes , every relatives there are bursting out of tears ...

So if i really had the dagger which could bring back time i would really really really ! repeat and stop time from going on during the stay of my grandfather in my home...
So ... this is how is end...
